Dozens gathered in Ruston Friday night to honor the life of 21-year-old Jasmine Wright.
Here balloons in her favorite colors, pink and white, were released.
Those close to Jasmine knew her as a caring sister, aspiring nurse and loving mother.
"I think her thing was to take care of people honestly," Jasmine's sister, Monique Pruitt said.
"She was always smiling and going to go out of her way to help anyone she could," her aunt, Latonya Williams said.
Yet, her life was taken too soon. She passed away in a car accident Tuesday night.
Friends and family said Jasmine was driving along Highway 80 when she hit a deer, forcing her to swerve off the road. She then hit a culvert, and her car flipped multiple times.
Police said Jasmine wasn't wearing a seatbelt, and was ejected from her car. She died at the scene.
Despite their loss, her family said they are thankful for two Good Samaritans who saw Jasmine, and prayed by her side until help came.
"Our initial concerns were no one wants to die alone...Those two ladies grabbed her hand and told her that they would be with her and so today we wanted to come and honor her and celebrate her and let her know she's not alone," Williams added.
Those close to her said her legacy will live on forever.
"I hate to see her gone, but she's not forgotten." Jasmine's uncle, Patrick Wright said
