I hope we can get a young president. I like the guy at Dillard. But I'm sure there are some good canditates with Grambling back ground. I don't think we need the guy from Southern. Just one man' opinion.

Just one man' opinion. The guy at Dillard might have eliminated himself by getting Michelle Obama too speak at their commencement.....I hope he applies.

He allowed the act to happen and it happened on his watch.....We can only hope that President Obama is at Grambling next spring to speak.

HBCU All-Star Helps Bring Michelle Obama to Dillard hbcudigest.com/hbcu-all-star-helps-bring-michelle-obama-to-dillard/It is to President Kimbrough's credit that he credits Nicole Tinson with bringing Michelle Obama to Dillard University. However, it is a fairy tale to believe that the young lady played the major role. A visit by the First Lady requires coordination among the Secret Service, local law enforcement, campus security, and numerous other University offices. The First Lady's visit would have been a logistical nightmare that required months of planning. A student has little of the time and none of the authority to pull off such an event.

I guess you are questioning the article?......How do you know how long the student worked on the project?.....Stop hating because you can't do what she did.

I am not questioning the article. If I were questioning anything, then I would be questioning President's quote in the article. However, I regard President Kimbrough's comment as showing respect for a brilliant young lady who was brave enough to invite the First Lady to Dillard University. It takes nothing from Nicole Tinson to say that the work required to bring the First Lady to Dillard was coordinated by President Kimbrough and his staff. This means that I do not take his comments literally. I also do not take Santa Claus literally. Neither do I believe in a living breathing Easter Bunny. Not believing in Santa Claus does not mean that I am foot soldier in the War of Christmas. Not believing the Easter Bunny does not mean that I hate Easter. It just means that I am a grown man.
