I just we can get a President that really want to be at Grambling. I hope we can get a much younger president. Dillard University have a president that look like he is in his forty seem as though he is doing a wonderful job. His nick name is the hip hop president. Does any one know who is the front runner? Who ever he, or she is, I just they can bring the Grambling Nation back together. We belong at the top !!!.

thanks to Dr Pogue for his service & wish him the best as he moves on. The Grambling Nation must come together & support the next president whether it be an Alumni or another outsider. the university is at a crossroads & need positive input.

Based on her background, experience, moreover, where the state of LA prefers to deploy GSU in the state's higher education landscape, the announced Spring 2014 GSU Commencement Speaker maybe a viable and plausible candidate to many stakeholders.

A very extensive and thorough search needs to be conducted that involves the state, the city and the alumni.

A very extensive and thorough search needs to be conducted that involves the state, the city and the alumni. I agree. If I recall correctly, the suggested process, supposedly happened prior and yielded Dr. Frank J. Pogue and his predecessor. Frankly, GSU is a public state institution, under the ULS, with little to no autonomy, and less political influence/clout in the Governor’s office than say 25 to 30 years ago. I believe there is a Master Plan for the Higher Education Landscape in the state of LA and the deployment of state resources, which involves a vibrant Institution of Higher Learning in the Grambling, LA.

Will you share your belief of a Master Plan and tell us what it is based on?.....Have you expressed your opinion to members of the ULS System?

Dr. Pogue stated in a meeting last year that he will be turning his keys to someone that will shut our doors......Can you believe the amount of GSU alumni that continued to support the guy?.....He caused national negative publicity too happen at our school and was applauded by uninformed selfish Gramblinites.....That is what is sad about this story......Where are all of the intelligent Gramblinites because it seems as if the dumbest and self serving ones seem to want to call the shots?

I am going to lose one iota of sleep about this. Just wish it would have happened months ago.

Yeah, but if the truth be told, you had them lips squarely positioned on Dr. Pogue's booty cheeks until he did the ultimate act.....fire our boy Doug Williams. You just couldn't stand his a$& ("ole Pogue") after that! Lol

Lol That is a lie.....I had my beef with Dr. Pogue way before Doug ever thought about coming back to Grambling.....My problems starting with Dr. Pogue in 2010....I always thought that we were unwise to hire a guy that came out of retirement after he was beyond his 70th birthday.....I knew Grambling needed more....Now you can speak for yourself where you puckle up your nasty lips.

We will have new VP's also. Heads are already rolling. In order for GSU to reach it's peak, the clown show must depart......I am not saying everyone is clowns, but sometimes the goods have to go with the bads......I am dumfounded that this type of leadership lasted for 5 or more years at Grambling....Self serving Gramblinites need to get out of the way to allow those that will do what's best for Grambling too flourish.....Let's all pray that we finally get a completely confident administration in place too lead Grambling as well as capable leaders to lead our alumni associations both locally and nationally.
