What was your most memorable game watching, playing or marching.
Nord vs McNair 1994. Biggest crowd ever: 26k+ most points ever: 62-56=118 total points
4 rushing TD 12 passing TD (Nord-7, McNair-5) 3 Ints 2 fumbles 1 pick 1 missed extra point
The only thing that would have made have made this game better if it would have gone into triple over time with the scores tied AT 98 and we FINALLY sacked McNair in the end zone for 2 to score 100 and win the game.

OCTOBER 21, 2006: GRAMBLING beat Jackson 36-7. Jackson State was 4-0 SWAC (5-1 overall). Rick Comegy's first year at Jackson. Grambling’s was.... 2-2 SWAC (2-4 overall). During pre-game warm up, JSU players surged toward midfield and shouted at our players, “We own the SWAC.” Their fans in the stands joined in shouting "We own the SWAC". Afterward, Edwards said "That little stunt got to us. That’s the worst thing they could have done.” He cought for over 100 yards in that game. The SWAC’s only undefeated team was undefeated no more. ;D However, The Sonic Boom’s rendition of “Get Ready,” Was off the chain.

30 damn years and has never had any work done to it. Might have gotten some patch work done, but in 30 years never had any major work done. The mcnair and nord showdown was the best game I saw in the rob.

Nord vs McNair GSU vs McNeese St
GSU vs Jackson st in 06.....when they stomped on the G at midfield and said "F@#% Grambling"
The infamous "Light Show" game when for halftime the band had the lights turned off in the stadium and they had the lights on their shoes. Best show I've ever seen...the stadium went crazy....
2010 GSU vs JSU. Frank Warren runs all over JSU for 200+ yards in a nail biting win against Casey therriault and JSU....frank was amazing that game....

I remember that.
I don't remember the year but, does anyone remember when Doug told Jackson's coach not to walk through the tiger head any more? Jackson's coach turned around and went through it again. I didn't see the actual blow but they said Doug hit him after he went through the tiger head the second time.
He told the boys something like, "I'm sorry but you don't let anybody disrespect you in your own house."

Definitely Jackson State stomping on the G. I was on the field with my camera. All the G-Men were ready to fight the Jackson State players, and some coaches even started mouthing off. Some of our cheerleaders were seemingly ready to roll if they had to. I still remember band members yelling from the stands. Then, the whooping our band and football team gave Jackson State was great. Never, EVER disrespect the G.

I think that's the one I'm referencing above where I was told Doug hit Jackson State's coach for walking through the rubber tiger head.

In 30 years, you guys can only remember 1 game?......Another interesting game that I remember also involved Alcorn......They cheated and beat us 35-33 in 1992 when Butcher scored the 2 point conversion and the refs called it no good.....Steve Mc Nair was a sophomore that year.
Let me add a twist to this thread, but let's keep it to this and stay on topic......What was the greatest invidual performance that you witnessed in the Rob the last 30 years?
Mine was Kendrick Nord performance against Alcorn in 1994.....He threw for over 400 yards and 7 tds......One more that I remember that most of y'all might have forgotten was Dexter Butcher 208 yards on 8 carries against Alabama St. for homecoming in 1992......Coach Rob pulled Butcher out in the 3rd quarter because Butcher was about to go for 400 yards and set the single game rushing record.....That boy was in a zone that day.
