Our beloved Alumnus and friend Frank Holmes passed shortly during what he loved best. With his brother and good friend Mayor Sam Jones by his side he asked to see the video of the Grambling Morgan State Game which he played in. After watching some of the game he layed his head to the side and slowly went on with his savior. I will keep you informed was arrangements have been made.

When I arrived in Grambling (September 1969) Frank was the QB however he was coming behind Shack and Rip Reed had just arrived as freshman. Was the smoothest in the pocket and could disguise a hand off to the RB. I didn't know him personally but as a Gnite I looked up to him!! Prayers to his family and to all who knew him.
