Lottie Jerro Green was born to the late Zelia Griffin Jerro and Emeal Jerro in Downsville, La. on August 27, 1925. She was the youngest of nine children. All preceeded her in death except a sister Essie Patterson of Colfax, La. She was a faithful member of the New Rocky Valley Baptist Church of Grambling, La. She graduated from Grambling State University. She was a dedicated member of the Epsilon Psi Omega Chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. In 1949 - 1975, she taught Adult Education in Madison Parish, Lincoln Parish School Board 1975 - 1979, Paraprofessional Counselor for Lincoln Family Development Center 1979 - 1981, Outreach Worker for Lincoln Parish in 1982, Grambling State Educational Talent Search Counselor in the year of 1982. She was the formal director of the RSVP with proven ability to produce. She was a member of the first board of the Eddie Robinson Museum and served as chairman. The family would like to thank Alpine Guest Care Center of Ruston for the services and care given to her.
