Glad Dr. Pogue cleared some things up. The Louisiana Legislative Auditor should have detailed the period of the audit but i'm not surprised they didn't. Haters. The haters are also the editors and staff of the Newsstar.......They love to sell newspapers at the sight of negative news about Grambling......All of GSU alumni association chapter presidents and members should send letters in protest to the Newsstar, but they won't and that's why the Newsstar act the way they do. You are correct.

Glad Dr. Pogue cleared some things up. The Louisiana Legislative Auditor should have detailed the period of the audit but i'm not surprised they didn't. Haters. I understand your frustration, but that's not the Auditor's role. They are to be independent and objective... Not their role to endorse, belittle, or explain. They are to present the facts and give an Audit OPINION to the university and their boss. Because we are a public institution, their findings/opinions are free to the press. Check out Dr. Pogue's closing statement... he is correct. We are to view them as allies in that they point out where we are deficient. An analogy is this...would you want your medical doctor to tell you that you're in good shape when he knows that you are not? This being said, while to some it may appear that auditors are adversaries, this administration embraces audits and views auditors as allies who identify potential risks to the university so that corrective action(s) can take place. Essentially, both the McDemmond Report and the Louisiana Legislative Auditor’s Report have done just that. Now the leadership of this university, with your concerted help, will continue to identify and eradicate risks to our financial security as we have been doing for the past several months.
